Data General Walkabout

Donor of the system Vernon Weiss (who was a product manager for the Data General PC group) writes:

The Walkabout was designed to allow people to check their email remotely via modem. It had GG, DEC and other emulations built into it. It was a great idea that was ahead of the hardware curve and was expensive.
