DigiBarn Docs: Apple II DOS Letters and Agreements The following are scans of letters embodying the agreement between Shepardson and Apple as to features and costs for the delivery of Apple II DOS in 1978. At the time Apple was located at Bandley Drive in Cupertino. There are handwritten second pages to some of the letters featuring some of the key utilities and capabilities that developer Paul Laughton would code into the DOS. One of the letters is addressed to Steve Wozniak and four are addressed to Steve Jobs. Note Steve Jobs' "SJ" initials acknowledging the receipt of one of the letters. This series of documents constitutes one of the first and most important contracts in Apple's early history. |
