Apple IIc Prototype with launch literature

Thanks to Ed Goodwin formerly of Apple engineering support for this wonderful Apple IIc prototype (pre-production) unit plus docs/software and the nifty "red briefcase" marketing launch materials. We also have an Apple IIc with a very rare Apple flat panel LCD display here (see below).

Apple IIc with flat panel screen

Thanks Michael Miller for this excellent Apple IIc with rare Apple flat panel LCD monitor. Michael tells us that this IIc was used in the fill "2010" and featured in the scene on the beach where Dr.Haywood Floyd is typing away on "the portable computer of 2010". The yellowing of the case due to sun exposure on this unit corresponds with being left out in the sun for the shoot.
