Digibarn Furniture:
Couch from Xerox PARC, CSL (Bill English)

Thanks to Nick Briggs of Parc (formerly Xerox Palo Alto Research Center) for the donation of this lovely Stendig sectional "caterpillar" style leather couch. This couch was purchased by Bill English, probably in 1975, to be placed in the open area near his office in the Computer Science Laboratory (CSL). I think of this as a logical brother to the famous "bean bag chairs" of 1970s PARC. This couch would have seated many "famous asses" in computer science and other fields during the critical idea formation years of 1970s PARC.
